JANUARY 2012

Hello to the new Room 18 children of 2012.  I hope you are all having a great holiday and now the weather is better you can all get outside and have fun.  I went to Raglan for a few days and saw the Bridal Veil Waterfall.  The water falls 55 metres! Wow what a great sight.

It would be fantastic if you could bring to school a picture of your family, or a picture you took of your holiday.  These would make a great display in our room.

I look forward to seeing you all on 31st January.


Term 1

WEEK 1

This week in Room18 has been busy! We have got to know each other quite well, and even the teacher has learnt all of the children's names, though she still gets a little mixed up at times! 
Our main focus for the week was to prepare for the first School Assembly.  Room 17 is also involved, and Room 12 has provided children to explain their responsibilities as Senior children in the school. 
Don't forget to bring along a sun hat and shades for the assembly on Tuesday afternoon.  Our item is how to be sun smart.

WEEK 2
  Hello from room 18.  We have successfully completed our School Assembly and now we are ready to practice being Sun Smart.  Please bring a hat every day and wear sun screen.  The hats can be left at school if you prefer.  Remember also to bring a lunch box and as little wrapping as possible.
