Dawn McMillan

Dawn's visit is part of the
New Zealand Book Council's
Writers in Schools programme.

 
 On Monday Dawn visited Otonga and spoke to our budding young authors in the junior school. She spoke to them about her ideas for stories, and the many times she sometimes has to rewrite a story to get it just right. She even went so far as to invite the children and their families to visit her at her home on the Thames coastline to see her studio and to have a cup of tea.
