Term 1. :
Informal get together barbecue– getting to know each other.
Junior Team Assessment for learning folders sent home
Term 2:
Parent/Teacher Interview – progress report on children’s achievement – 3 ways parent, teacher, children.
Assessment for Learning Folders sent home – junior, middle and senior.
Term 3:
Junior Team Assessment for learning folders sent home
Term 4:
Student Led Conferences take place (Week 7) whole class
Folders go home at end of term and now can be kept as a record of learning.
National Standards Reports sent home when due, according to the childs 'years at school' or "end of year".
The Ministry of Education has released the following brochures to help parents understand the National Standards and how they can support their child's learning.
Parents and teachers may arrange furthur interviews at any time, if necessary.
