Student Leadership

Developing leadership for our students starts from age 5 when children are encouraged to walk themselves into class and set themselves up for their learning day.

Class-wide:     Leadership is fostered through independence, group roles, class responsibilities and student led learning

Team-wide:     Leadership is fostered through monitors, special events leaders and becoming involved with the buddy class programme.

School-wide:    Leadership opportunities are provided through such things as Green Team, House Captains, School Council, Peer Mediators, 

                       Librarians, Kapa Haka, Road Patrol Wardens, Wet Day Duty and PE Shed Monitors
