Second language Learning


At Otonga students learn about other languages and cultures from age 5.

There are weekly lessons in Te Reo Maori and the school pays a visit to their local marae when possible.

From middle school (Yr 3/4) all students learn Mandarin Chinese language and culture.

Elective opportunities have also been provided for Spanish and Sign language modules
