Second language Learning


At Otonga students learn about other languages and culture from age 5.

There are weekly lessons in Te Reo Maori and the school pays a visit to their local marae every third year.

From Year 5 students also learn Mandarin Chinese language and culture.

Elective opportunities also provide for Spanish and Sign language modules
