Enviro School

Otonga School became a full Enviro school in 2008.

One term per year is spent in a full inquiry and action study that explores what we can do to look after our home, school, community and global environment.

These range from individual responsibility for recycling, to class worm farms and litter areas, school composting , community stream and lake studies and being aware of the natural world that surrounds us. 

Otonga's Green Team enthusiastically runs special projects and monitors and supports classrooms to be more environmentally active.
