Otonga School Te Kura o Tihiōtonga welcomes applications from international fee-paying students who are primary school age (5–11 years) and who will be living in New Zealand with a parent or legal guardian.

Students must hold a current student visa before beginning school.
English Language Support
Otonga School has a fully qualified specialist ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) teacher who supports students whose first language is not English. When students begin at our school, they are assessed to determine the level of English language support required.

International students are placed in the class appropriate for their age and participate fully in the daily learning program alongside their peers.
Fees are $3,500 per term or $14,000 per year
A minimum enrolment of one term is usually required to ensure stability for both the student and the class. Our school does not have a school uniform and students will get stationery and books etc.
Otonga School does not usually pay agent fees.

Eligibility for Health Services
Most international students are not entitled to publicly funded health services in New Zealand. If medical treatment is required during your stay, you may be responsible for the full cost.

Accident Insurance
The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) provides accident insurance for all visitors to New Zealand. However, students may still be liable for other medical or related costs.
