Futsal 2023 – Term 4 (Registrations Due via KINDO by 9am Friday 22nd September 2023)

Futsal – Term 4


This notice is for all parents of children (Year 5-6 boys and girls) who are interested in playing Futsal in Term 4 this year.


Futsal is indoor 5-a-side soccer played on a basketball sized court with 3m wide by 2m high goals. Each game has two 18-minute halves. Futsal is rapidly gaining in popularity in New Zealand. It is great for the development of skills in young players and it is lots of fun too!


Please read the attached registration notice for this event, which includes important information on when & where games will be played etc and how to register & pay via Kindo.


Registrations need to be completed via KINDO by 9am Friday 22nd September.
(No late entries will be accepted).

Netball 2023 – Term 4 (Registrations Due: 9am Wednesday 6th September 2023 via KINDO)

Open to year 1-6 boys and girls who are interested in playing Netball in Term 4 this year. This tournament is 6 games and will be held on Monday afternoons at the Rotorua Netball Courts on Malfroy Road. Game times start from 4pm.


The Year 1-2 grade is 4 aside and played on a modified court with portable goals.


The Year 3-4 grade is 5 aside and played on a full court with portable goals.


The Year 5-6 grade is 6 or 7 aside and played on a full court with portable goals.


The season starts on Monday the 16th October and finishes on Monday 27th November.


Please read the attached registration notice for this event, which includes important information on coaches, umpires, what to wear, rules to abide by and how to register & pay via Kindo.


Registrations need to be completed via KINDO by 9am Wednesday 6th September. (No late entries will be accepted).

Rip, Grip & Whip 2023 – Event Held on 19-09-2023 Registration Notice (Due via KINDO by 9am Wednesday 06-09-2023)

Rip, Grip & Whip – A Mountain Bike Event for Rotorua Students


Available to year 4-6 boys and girls.


This event will take place on Tuesday 19th September 2023 at the Waipa Mountain Bike Park.


 


IMPORTANT NOTE:
All children that registered for the Rip, Grip & Whip event which was meant to be held on the 9th May 2023 are automatically registered for the new date of 19th September 2023. Please do not register again.


This is an opportunity for anyone that didn’t register the first time to register now. 


 


Registration Fee = $5 per student


Registrations need to be completed via KINDO by 9am Wednesday 6th September 2023. (No late entries will be accepted).


If your child is interested in taking part in this event, please read the attached registration notice which contains important information for parents and competitors, including how to register and pay using Kindo.

Seesaw

Seesaw is a platform for student engagement that inspires students of all ages to do their best, and saves teachers time! Students use creative tools to take pictures, draw, record videos and more to capture learning in a portfolio. Teachers find or create activities to share with students.The Seesaw platform is used for homework activities as well as in class work.

Parents are also notified by the class teacher about classroom and school activities and events via the Seesaw platform. Parents can also Seesaw their child’s teacher.

Families only have access to their child’s journals. This means you will see student work tagged with your child’s name and posts the teacher tags with ‘Everyone’. Families can also see any comment made by another user on their child’s journal posts.
