Our School Zone
Home // Our School Zone

Otonga School has a school zone in place.
School enrolment zones stop schools from getting overcrowded, and give children who live in the school area (the zone) a guarantee that they can go to their local school.
- Children who live in the Otonga School zone are guaranteed a place at our school.
- If the school has extra places, children who live outside the zone can apply for those places.
- If the school has zoning you need to give an address within this zone when you apply to enroll your child. This must be your usual place of residence. If the school finds that you have given false information, they may cancel your child’s enrolment.
- If you live outside the Otonga School zone your child will only be able to enroll through an out-of-zone ballot, which is held termly, if there are spaces available. Please contact the school office and complete an enrolment form to ensure you are included in the out-of-zone ballot.
